"You could sell drugs, but I wouldn't recommend it," Logan suggested, lifting up a sleeve to reveal a arm that was heavily tattooed. One area was clearly a scar. "You see that? Guy jacked my shit at knife point. Scariest night of my fucking life. He had it at my throat at one point." He made a motion at his neck. "Seriously thought I wasn't gonna see the sunrise." He bit his lip once more, sucking the metal into his mouth and biting down on it. Then he traced the scar with his finger.
"Told me that the only way I'd remember him is if he cut me, just a little." The smile that had been on his face at the beginning of the story was gone and now all that was left was the memory of that night.

Let the Flames begin.Hayley shuddered as he finished his story. She sat still for a few moments before reaching out and running her pointer finger over the scar. She frowned slightly and then said "Well, I'm glad he didn't kill you." She left her finger on his arm, still rubbing the scar. She wasn't exactly sure what she was doing.. She looked into his eyes, her gaze jumping from his right eye to his left eye and then back to his right. She bit the corner of her lip and relized her hand was still on his arm. She pulled it back to her body quickly and blushed slightly. She looked down at the ground for a few seconds until the blush had gone away. Blushing was so.. ugh. Just.. ugh.

Logan liked having her touch his arm. Physical contact was always something he liked, and he liked having his share of lays, but this was different. He saw red flood her cheeks and then she pulled away. Truthfully, he was a bit disappointed.
From the outside world, he heard the wind pick up. He looked out through the metal bars and glass wondering if anyone had actually busted out of this place sucessfully. Snow got caught in the wind from the roof of the hospital and created a cloud against the bright blue sky. It looked decivingly warm outside, and he would've killed for just the chance to get out there.

Let the flames begin.Hayley glanced outside to see what he was looking at. Snow. She hadn't ever seen snow.. Well, before she came here. It didn't really snow in Texas. "So is there anything to do here? Besides sit around and do nothing?" She could feel her cheeks still a little hot and it made her blush even more. Praying he wouldn't notice, she sighed. She drummed on the ground with her hands, boredly. She took another cigarette out of the pack sitting next to her and lit it. Bad habit. She smoked when she was bored. She asumed she would be smoking a lot during her stay here. She took a long drag and blew the smoke out of the side of her mouth. She studied the burning ash on the end of the cigarette. It was all glowy and red.

He broke his gaze of the outside world to look at her. He'd take Hayley over the snow outside anytime. "No," he answered. "It's basically been sit and do nothing so far for me. I think if there were more people around that weren't just sitting and crying in their rooms we could, like, stage a coup or something. That'd be pretty sweet." He smiled at the thought and leaned back in his chair again. He didn't feel like having another cigarette right now, which was odd, but he decided to not think about it. The only thought he was having was a fantasy about escaping.
"You think anyone could fit through those bars? Well, maybe you could, skinny as you are."

Let the Flames begin."People should stop being so depressed. And be happy. Being happy is so much more fun." She glanced at him, not making eye contact. "Probably not. Too fat." Oops. She wasn't supossed to say she was fat. Part of her 'rehibilitation' that wasn't working. She took another drag of her cigarette and flicking the ashes off. She chewed on the inside of her mouth, careful to to bite open her lip. She yawned and covered her mouth quickly.

"You see, I don't get why girls do that," Logan nearly shouted. He'd dated loads of girls who complained about weight when they were basically sticks. He didn't understand what the big deal was. "Seriously, look at you. If you're turn to the side, I'd lose you. And even so, lots of guys like more cushion for the pushin', you know?" He thrusted his hips upward to illustrate his point.
"Rough night? Why are you tired?"

Let the Flames begin.Hayley frowned and said "I know I know. I'm working on it. I'm used to saying I'm fat. But I'm working on it." She laughed, covering her mouth when he thrusted his hips. "Nice. So do you like fat girls?" She paused for a second, listening to the wind outside and then said "Not really. They took my teddy bear away cause I could hurt myself with it. And I'm not used to sleeping without it. And I have a lumpy bed. Not used to that either. And I was kinda scared of my roomate." She laughed. She probably sounded kinda whiney. But she didn't really care. They took her Teddy Bear away. She deserved to be whiney.

"Fatties are hot," he joked. He didn't like sticky girls, but he deffinately wasn't pounding the obese ones. He listened to Hayley's rant over teddybears and lumpy beds and a crazy roommate. She reminded him of a little girl. But it was apparent she was grown. It was cute to him.
"Babe, I'll let you in on a secret." He leaned in so he was close to her ear. "We're all crazy. That's why we're locked the fuck up," he whispered before laughing loudly. He rubbed an eye and suddenly realized how fucking tired he was. "I don't sleep at all. First it was withdrawl, now it's just insomnia. Fucking hell."

Let the Flames begin.Hayley crinkled her nose in disgust when he said that fatties were hot. Hayley gasped slightly when he got close to her. It suprised her. She was used to people being close to her and all.. but.. She didn't really know. Her heart was probably beating a lot faster than normal. "Well.. Maybe you should sleep more. Duuuuh." She grinned at him. She was pretty sure she wasn't ever going to get much sleep here. There was too many people screaming and crying. Couldn't they all just shut up? At least at night.

He laughed a condisending laugh. "Yeah, right. Fucking easier said than done." He wipped his nose on the back of his hand, knocking his septum piercing around, which caused some discomfort. This was just another one of many things on his body that weren't needed and infected. He wiggled his nose in attempt to discard the pain.
"Every time I try to sleep, it feels like I'm choking or I'm drowning. Usually I can just see someone with their hands around my throat. I dunno, it's pretty weird. I usually just wander around after lights out. It's pretty fun to watch them freak out."

Let the Flames begin."Haha. Yeah. Well, you should at least try." Heyley shivered and said "Well, I can understand why you can't sleep then. I wouldn't be able to sleep either." She scratched her head with her pointer finger and said "Yeah. I would think that would be more fun than sleeping. Especially if you don't sleep." Hayley leaned her neck back and groaned. "I think.. this place is going to drive me more crazy than I already am."

"I think it's stupid," he was suddenly alert and stiff, like he was about to give a speech. "I mean, they take psychos from all over and put them in the same building and the same rooms? Why did anyone ever think that was a good idea. They're not helping us, we're getting new ideas about how to deal with stress or take the easy way out and just take ourselves out. Putting us on medication that turns us into zombies. This is bullshit."
When he was finished, he collapsed in his chair. Half angry and have happy, he'd been waiting to tell anyone what he really thought about this place. The staff didn't count, since he always complained to them anyway. He hoped that Hayley understood and took the same view.

Let the Flames begin.Hayley listened patiently to his rambling and laughed. "I know! If I talk to more anorexic people and they give me more ideas about it." She pushed her lips to the side and groaned. "It's stupid." She pushed her bangs out of her eyes and stared at him. "Soo.. How long are you staying?"

"A three month minimum," he said. "But that was on the condition of good behavior. Given that I've been here a while and the only thing I've done is been an ass, I'd say I could be looking at life." He laughed. As much as he wanted to get out of this place, he wanted to stay. Despite the fact that the rules were crazy and the people were crazy, the whole damn world was one fucking loony bin. So, he figured he'd rather be in a place where people knew they were insane, than he live in an outside place where people pretended to be normal.
"How about you? Planning on being here long?"
